>> 2010 Mazdaspeed3 HEADLIGHT BAKE & PAINT!!! **Photos & Video!**

Yea I get the idea and it would certainly look better... the problem is, when you open up the whole opening like that, the whole bumper becomes flimsy and warped because the grill thats in there currently is very solid and helps it hold its shape and also keeps the bottom middle from sagging. I think my next project is going to be a front bumper mod for sure since no one seems to be putting out any nice parts yet. Gotta take things into my own hands at this point! (as if I havent already) LoL

Psyco..... what bumper did you photoshop that carbon from? It looks like a civic grill but enlarged....?

im not sure were its form, its just a generic grill i found a pic of , wasn't on a car... and u are right I had to enlarge, widen and transform it.

maybe a better option will be instead of leaving it wide open( because a wide open grill is going to cause lots of problems not just what u said but also imagine a bird going right through .. s*** happens ). so maybe actually a grill that isn't wide open and has a better support structure.

Thanks =)

It looks easy because it is easy. What you dont see in the video is the amount of time it takes. Patience is all you need, the rest is cake!

I hear ya... before they came out I couldnt stand looking at the pics of them... then once I saw them in person they grew on me. I dont LOVE the car, but it gets the job done for me =)

lol i really wanna find someone in NJ willing to help me out with this. what exactly did u use to seal it back up?

Looks like the SEMA '10 MS3 took some pointers from you :)

The chrome looks good in there how they did it on a white car. If I had done that on my black car it would have looked foolish and I would not have achieved the "black out" look I was going for. But yea, it looks great on white.

A lil off topic but try AutoExe. I think they do

I know i'm keeping this a bit off topic, but since you mentioned it, I'll support your answer DarkSpeed.

The front grille from AutoExe can be ordered from CorkSport for $920. It's on their site under the 2010 MazdaSpeed 3 section, but talk to derrick if you want a sedan version.

Back on topic, I never chimed in on this thread before so, nice work Dark, I'm thinking of doing that as soon as it's warm enough outside.
