Best shot taken of it I've seen yet. The body style has a modern disign of a blob looking tho front end of which looks as if it was just slapped across.

I like the ass on this. the front is ok. Performance, its pretty much alike. I'm glad i have an 08...could use some AWD tho. Tired of all this snow.

drove a Velocity Red GT hatch yesterday...... Makes our 1st gen. 3's feel like tin cans in quality. Mazda did a great job on the quality of the new ones. The new 2.5l is great. Only good colors for the new 3 are DARK colors, EX: Copper Red Mica, Graphite Mica, Black Mica, etc...

I kinda' like the scoopy sides. The front is ugly and will take a lot of getting used to, imo. We are all used to seeing Subies that look like this, but a Mazda? The scoop on the Speed is a good idea, but why a Subie copy? They could've been more original than that.
The back is not too bad, except the larger, more intrusive bumper cover and bulgy(??) tail lights.
Yup, this one is going to take a lot of work.... body work.

I dont like the new model. I really want a new one because I dont want one that has a chance to be modded. But I cant get over the new models looks. It might grow on me though.

I really do like the over all look, but that smile's a bit cheesy.

That design looks alot like the Subaru's but the front end looks like a PEUGEOT 307 if any of you know in Europe

I like the dual exhaust and how the back end looks. the front end is interesting.

it looks better in that red color. the one that i saw at the chicago auto show was that horrible baby barf robin egg color.

the head rest in the back seats look like the ones in the mazda5 van. they're not very comfortable.

not liking the center console area but i like where they have the nav unit placed in.

and true, it could be a lot worse.
