OK for you guys that noticed that 2010 Mazda3 the trunk compartment is missing the underfloor storage tray or compartment or whatever you call it, here's questions for you guys.

Q1. Is the pic below what is missing? This is from the Mazda Axela site in Japan:

http://www.axela.mazda.co.jp/?bt=sport

Q2. Is the Axelas in the website above the SAME as the North America 2010 Mazda3?

Let me know guys and gals, and I can try to find out part nos for the underfloor cargo compartment.

Since it's a flash app you'll have to mouse over the same spot on the page as I did to get it onscreen.

The 3 is known in other parts of the world as the Axela.

I would love to have this if you can find out the part number and ordering info.....TIA !

Yep, that's it! Needs it! Wants it! Has to haves it! Nowwww! Lol. Seriously though, anything you can do to get us a part number would be awesome. Thanks again.

Suboosted!

I'm living in Japan as well and I need to drop by my Friendly Mazda Dealer this week to pick up my Cosmo (in between upgrades) for an upcoming super special road trip...I'll see if I can find out any info as well...:D

Ps...Thanks to MadBiker for the PM heads up and the Cosmo props! (2thumbs)

OK Antoine's the man!

Antoine, can you get the part nos? (bow)

The dealerships have the online access to the parts catalog and its in there - you have to have them look for it. Underfloor storage or something like that.

When I went to my local Mazda dealer I wasn't sure if that was the parts that would fit the 2010 North America Mazda3. And that dealer doesn't have a showroom (typical of dealerships in urban areas in Japan) so I had nothing to go by but the pictures sent to me by Derrick_B:

http://carview-img02.bmcdn.jp/minkar...1185894/p1.jpg

Also if this helps Derrick sent me these part nos. for the 2009 model:
BP4K-688F0
B32L-688F0
B32H-688F0

Just need to find the equivalent for the 2010 model.

Any helps appreciated man!

p.s. What are you doing to your Cosmo? Hope you're not painting it pink or something haha.

Waiting for Antoine....

Sorry Derrick, I guess we're all waiting on Antoine who's also a forum god so he's probably real busy. But I'll try to find out as well when I have the time.

Any luck finding this part number?

I have the info...

I have the info but time is a different matter - visited the friendly local Mazda dealer and had him print it out but I haven't had time to scan it - really. Try 15 hr workdays for 2 weeks straight...

Update? It's been a month and a I want Santa to bring me a cargo shelf!

Ouch. Good to hear you have the information though.

Sorry this is so late - but here it is!!!

Ouch. Good to hear you have the information though.

OK so I finally got myself to scan the info and post here. Really sorry for the delay, but I was spending all my free time (whatever's left after work) on fixing my 4G U2 Special Editiion iPod - now that it's been revived, I can focus on cars!

The attached PDF is a 2 page pdf. On page 1 look at the lower right - that's the underfloor compartment parts.

68-821 - Trunk Board (Holds your tire changing tools)
- B39B-68-8MXC 04

68-8MX - YOUR HOLY GRAIL - the underfloor storage compartment unit
- BBN7-68-83XE
- BBN9-68-83XE
- BBP9-68-83XB
- BBR9-68-83XD 04

68-667F - Floor Cover (not sure what it's called)

68-8HO - Floor Cover (what is this called anyway?)

68-695 Trunk Room Mat
- B39C-68-81XA 04
- B39D-68-81XA 04
- BBR9-68-81XD 04
- BCD2-68-81XA 04

Page 2:
This is a price list in yen for the various parts above - there are several types for each part above depending on the grade of your Axela. This should get you guys started.

ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMEONE WHO WORKS AT MAZDA NA that could help us more with this? Anyone know David Coleman (was Geek At Large at Sport Compact Car magazine, now R&D Engineer for Mazda NA) or someone else?

Edit:
OK, in Japan, Mazda has the following Axela grades:
1.5L
2.0L 4WD
2.0L FR 2WD
Madaspeed3

The four types are probably for each of those, but I don't know which is which.

Props to MadBiker for taking the time & effort to provide this info (2thumbs)...I do apologize for my lack of response in this thread...I've just had a lot of other things already in the pipeline to focus on and still do...Glad to know we've got MadBiker on the case and helping fellow Members out! :D

That said...I will keep an eye on this thread and if I'm able to help out in anyway...I'll let you guys know...Hope everything works out...Feel free to PM ME anytime...:)

Hi guys,

I know this post is old but I just joined the forum and was wondering if there are any updates. I have a 2010 Mazda 3 sedan and would LOVE to have the one of these.

Thanks,
Carlos

Carlos, If you have a sedan, I'm not sure it'll it fit.... this was for the wagon... do you know if the sedan and wagon share the same underfloor piece that holds the jack wrench tools???

Now that my closest dealer has converted to a Daihatsu dealership, I don't have a convenient way to find Mazda Japan parts information... Let me think about this, but if you can do some legwork that will help.

From the pictures that looks like it would delete the spare tire, is that the case? If it is the case that would explain why it isn't sold on US models. I actually had to raise the back deck on my '11 mz3 HB to fit a full size spare and for sure the organizer would never fit.
