Hello all.

First, I am a chic with no/little car knowledge. So help a sister out. I have a Mazda 3 with 15K on it. A few months ago, I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation. They told me the rear tires were 'chopped'. I took it in to the Mazda dealership and they said it was a rear alignment issue that should have been fixed before it left the factory. While at the dealership, they also told me they actually called a Mazda engineer to see how to fix the problem. They 'fixed' it, gave me 4 new tires and sent me on my way. Fast forward....took my car in for an oil change. They told me the rear tires are 'chopped' again. I havent even put 4K miles on it since the last time. Is anyone else having this problem? Anything special I should ask the dealership while they are 'fixing' it again? The closest Mazda dealership to me is a two hour drive so this back and forth stuff is a pain.

Any input will be appriciated!

I would ask the dealer to check the camber and toe, or perform an all-wheel alignment. It's not a bad idea to get an all-wheel alignment any time you get new tires.

Like I say, you probably need to get a re-alignment and have the camber and toe checked out.
