The article is from the Toronto Autoshow in Canada, so I would assume the US will get it to.

I don't know...looking at the Ford previews it doesn't look like Canada is getting the SHO like we are. Canada's top Taurus is the 3.5L 263hp SEL. Ours will be a twin turbo 3.5L 365hp EcoBoost.

Nonetheless, this isn't about Ford, its about the CX-7 so we'll see. I don't think I'd want one with 84 fewer horses and 96 fewer ft/lbs while at the same time, I'm sure, gaining a few pounds along the way.

The N/A 2.5L version should be lighter than the 2.3 turbo, and will most likely be FWD only. But yeah, 160~ horses ain't much in such a heavy SUV.

It's supposed to make it's US debut at the NY auto show in April.

I like the new dash. Undecided on the front end....

like it. too bad they didn't decide to offer a manual transmission (like they do in europe) or the 3.7L (!!!) or a diesel.

but this means that there will likely be some great deals to be had in a year on '09s when our current lease is up.

The thing that interests me the most are the improvements to the transmission and boost control. I'm curious to see how much better it drives.

ah. the pics are a mash of old 08 cx7 pics and 2010 pics.
i was looking at the copper red one going "um...thats an 08" because it IS.
