Obviously nothing is unbreakable. I'm not sure what you did to yours but based on the dozen or so people I know with WRXs (not to mention the vast amount of information floating around the net) the WRX's tranny is far stronger than most and can handle not only a ton of hp but a relatively high level of abuse. Amongst WRX purists, this is a prevailing thought that's not even debated.
