2009 Mazda5 radio won’t change stations

Hello,

I have a 2009 Mazda5 and the radio died. I replaced it with an OEM used radio from another 2009 Mazda5 and while it works, I am unable to change radio stations. Is there some sort of reset I need to do or did I possibly get a bad head unit?

Update. I can switch radio stations with the scan feature just not the tune dial. So thats a workaround anyway for now.

I don't know if the 09 had the ability to save Favorites but if it does you can Scan then when the station you want hits save it to Favorites, then see if you can access the station that way. This is all predicated on the ability to save Favorites.

Yes I can save favorites so that works. I was able to do that earlier today.
