Hello Ken and welcome to the forum. You can have your Mazda5 checked at any Mazda dealer you like (including the selling dealer), and that check and/or repair will be free of any charges IF...

1) there is no owner-caused damage causing the problem
2) there has been no modification to any part of the vehicle that could be causing the problem
3) No unauthorized repairs have been attempted that have caused the problem.

If those conditions do not apply, you get a free diagnosis and if needed, a free repair.

Hello everyone! My name's Ken. I have a 29 day old daughter. My problem is, I have a Mazda 5 2009 purchased it brand new last october 2009. Its our first family car and we're hearing a banging noise on the back wheel whenever we passed on a humps. im worried for our safety knowing that its less than a year old car and its having this problem. can i take it on where i purchased it ( mazda sunridge) and have it chek FREE OF CHARGE? thanks. your response is highly appreciated... Godspeed.

I'll bet it's either the sway bar bushings or a blasted shock. Check for oil around the shock or underneath the car where you park at night.

My Mazda dealer was fixing something every 2 mos or so on my 06 since I knew the warranty was going to run out. No questions asked, no cash, just a signature so they could bill Mazda. I expect the car to the next several years w/o anything needing work besides usual wear items. Use your warranty, don't waste it.
