ok, so I did the dome light swap using the Corksport LED kit 2 weeks ago, and just yesterday i noticed that when my dome and map lights are on the door setting that the dome light is faintly on lit while the doors are closed. Also, if i turn the dome light to the off setting the map light is faintly lit. They both stay off when i turn them off but stay on with the door setting. I read that some mods that require splicing into that door circut could cause this but i only swapped the old bulbs with LED's. Any suggestions?

I actually got LED's for my MAP and DOME light. My DOME light does the same thing, I have to manually switch it to OFF, otherwise it stays on very dim though.

There may still be a small level of voltage running through that circuit when its in the door switch mode. and LEDs will show that better than a standard fillament type bulb. the only real way to get rid of it would be by adding some sort of electrical component (i think a transistor) that will only let the proper voltage go throuh that circuit when another proper voltage is received.

basically it would be like another switch for that light that only turns on when it senses 12v.

That's basically glowing from the residual electricity running through the wiring from simply being connected to the battery. Just shows you how little electricity led's use! Careful what kiNd of transistor you put in. Some of them actually work as amplifiers which will just make the glow brighter. I think you need a PNP transistor because they ground out while not live. Double check with a real electrician on that though. Lol
