i sware some of you guys are the most biased and retarded people walkin the earth. How the hell can you make any opinion with basically the whole car coverd to hide any lines or details?? Everyday I wonder how some of you guys even feed yourself being so redicuouly mental.

its a car board. we discuss cars and new concepts like this one, despite disguising. you don't like it, don't post here. simple as that..

moving on!

it's not a 6 wagon. I like it....well not really, I cant even tell what it really looks like. But the front end is an improvement. Any change to the fron end would be an improvement. Looks like it's in a straight jacket. Menacing :D

It's just waiting to bust out and put a whuppin on fools!

Looks more like a 3 hatch then a 6 wagon. If it is a wrx it's looking like the grill is gonna looking a whole lot better.

I read in some magazine that subaru was going to make an STI hatchback which would be noice!
It's crazy how many time the wrx has been redesigned these past few years but, my fav suby is still the old 2.5rs impreza body style with the big fogs and also my dads old 92 legacy wagon.(yes)

I'd say the wheels are a pretty obvious thing that they came off the current WRX. If this is gonna be 330 hp thats gonna really be a screamer! It's still way to early to tell what the body is gonna look like, but from what little i can tell, it seems to be a step in the right direction. I saw a new STi the other day and wasn't impressed at all with the front end. I would still take a 2002 any day of the week. I do like the LED taillights, hopefully the sedan gets those as well. Give it 3 or 4 months and we'll see a less covered version and we can make our remarks on looks.

What the hell are you talking about? Its a PROTOTYPE. We can give our opinions on prototypes if we please.

I love the fact that their making a hatch. I think this may be my next car.

you're all wrong. That's the '08 MSP. Yeah. They're re-releasing it, and only I know about it.

that car is ugly. why would anyone in their right mind buy a car with paper all over it. it looks like it got tyvek home wrapped. that's just stupid. maybe if it had normal paint, then it would look *alright* but even then I don't know. It's gotta make wind noise at highway speeds almost unbearable too. also, i just don't understand the weird windshield and rear glass banners that they applied. just makes no sense.

Dude, they were testing in Cali. That's reactive armor on the car in case of highway shootings.

Look at the second picture, you can see the rear differential. Also, different muffler layout: current wrx exhaust exit on left side of car, this has a "sideways" muffler with right side exit.
Also, the control arms looks different, they look almost like the chevy malibu and saabs with the gm platform. Although, I highly doubt it is on any gm platform since gm sold it's shares of subaru.

NAw man it's active camo!! Someone tries to pull a drive by and BOOM! You blend right in.

'02/03 Bugeye owns all (in aesthetics). I've been driving my brother-in-law's '03 for the last few days and it's sooo much fun. We just drove up to Greensboro to buy his mom a Baja yesterday.

The grill does look MAZDA, but overall the front end looks like the current legacy.

Great another hatchback, they dont look good now they didnt look good before and there never going to look good. How can people think a car that is similar to a station wagon can look good. Its the worst design a car could ever come in.

boo to you. yay for function.

The next generation of mazda 6 is supposed to be larger than the current one. And in my opinion that prototype isn't any bigger. The hood scoop looks like a scooby to me. That car is way too heavily disguised to tell much. The new grill looks kinda nissan-ish to me.
