I remember people saying the same about ABS (would you buy a car without ABS today?)
Stability Control has been proven to prevent loss of control in emergency maneuvers. It costs the car manufacturer $300-400 to include it on a vehicle.
There's no reason Not to want every available safety feature in your car. JMO of course.

Yeah it's officially official. Otherwise it would have been labelled "Preliminary Draft". The gear ratios and mileage numbers are the only thing that are "TBA".
Oh, and the Job Date is October 2007. Loooooong wait to see what they're gonna look like.

I'll take ANY feature that prevents slammed doors... UGH, I always see this happen in slow motion and I don't have time to react... my friggen mother-in-law ALWAYS grabs the handle, throws her body weight into it, and SLAMS the door shut... to the point where it bounces back open before it has a chance to latch. I've told her to just *gently* glide it several times before. It happened the other day, and I couldn't take it anymore... I basically chewed her out over it! :mad:beegirl said:No more slammed doors or partially closed doors. Does the US get this feature also??
The 2.3/4AT combo was offered in previous years, just wanted to show the difference.07MZ5SA said:I thought MZ3 2.3 comes in 5AT only?
I think you mean the spring-loaded sliding doors, which the US models have. True remote power sliding doors and hatch on the 5 are available in Asian markets.beegirl said:I have a 2007 "Canadian" Platinum Silver Metallic 5GT with power assist doors. No one has mentioned this feature which I this is great. No more slammed doors or partially closed doors. Does the US get this feature also??
They are redesigning the dash and center stack, so maybe they'll change the finish as well. Maybe Piano Black like in every other Mazda.... although that scratches easily too.... it's a no win situation!raspykart said:dang, now I'm a bit jealous... but we've already made such great use of the car this year to complain bout getting it. Glad to see Mazda does care about owner feedback. Looks like they didn't hear the complaints about how the interior easily scratches... espec the silver panels.
