Got It! Pics Added

Sup all! I FINALLY got my Speed 3!!

The dealer here just got these bad boys in yesterday.... 4 Speeds, and one Black Mica GT out of them all!

Needless to say; I walked with the car OTD 25567.00 JUST SO YOU KNOW!!!
No NAVi Option...saw what it looked like, figured I could use the 1750.00 on an aftermarket option that is much better looking... :)

MS3 DO HAVE S PLAN PRICING!!!
You must be able to get it too; for the one I got, the S Plan Price was 23243.00 So after TTL, it should be roughly 25hundredish plus minus some change. So yeah, if you can get it, GET IT. :-)

By the way, that doesn't include any of the upgrades I bought all up front to, including installation. I'll post pics tomorrow, can't get good shots since its so dark...but its a Speed 3, you all know what it looks like... lol

- Sport Spring kit w/ camber links
- Sport Dampers (4 Corners)
- LoJack
- Auto Dimming/Compass Mirror w Homelink

Minus Installation (Need to get a baseline first)
- MS CAI
- MS CBE
(Besides, I can install these in my garage!) 8) :klavergreg:

Now to look into them wheels I wanted! MUAHAHAHAH!!!!

yea i can get the s plan too. a gt ms3 would be 25,100 otd after ttl.
a sport ms3 would be about 23,300 otd after ttl. dont really need a gt but do want the hid headlights cause i am scared of deer on the highway at night. was wondering if i can still negotiate the purchase price of the car with the s plan. is it like the dealer isnt making less money as in manufacturer to dealer discounts and there is still room to haggle? or is it that they will not negotiate cause they are taking a cut on profits? before i could get the s plan, my dealer was trying to get me into one 500 under sticker... i want to subtract 500 from s plan. this dealer has ms3s on the lot for two moths or more, not selling too quick.

go for it dude. I got the S Plan on a 2008 model; so if they have 07s there, you should be able to talk them lower.... If you can do it, go for it! :-)

Look for '07s! I just got my GT from here in Louisville, KY for $22.5k + TTL! (drinks) If you're willing to travel, there are several left in Cincy and Indy as well...

They told me that the 08 is still restricted from s-plan. I'm wondering what gives...I'm also eligible for s-plan but my dealer tells me that the speed3 is restricted and by the sounds of it Mazda USA agrees.

Who do you know? :-)

Could you clarify your comment?

lol i got my gt for 24907 OTD Splan my ass its a scam

Not sure what you mean by "s-plan is a scam" Do you mean that it is being offered or are you insinuating that those who said they got s-plan didn't?

The s plan makes it sound like your actaully getting something, when in reality you are not. You are just tricked into thinking you are getting a deal that not ever1 else can get. Did you hear about the "xyz times 100" plan. I will give you a gt ms3 for 25.2 otd NO1 gets that price but you. OMG SOLD!!!

Like i said before, shop around and actually take longer than 1 day to buy a car. IF the s plan is such a great discount why did i get my gt for lower than that without any plans. Don't be afraid to be straight out rude, walk out while hes saying why he cant give you the price you want. While hes making up his excuses including "its a mazdaspeed car" "no special promotions or discounts" "it will sell no matter what" "no promotional intrest rates" You simple walk out, one of two things will happen, they will chase you out the door, or they will call you the next day to come in again.

For a car like a corolla or camry, basically anything that out on the roads, my final price otd for that car is sticker minus 1k. For a "hotter" car that is in demand my final price OTD that i am willing to pay is sticker. The sticker for my car was 24800 i got it for 24907 but i really liked this car so i ate the 107 bucks lol.

btw never trade in cars unless they are beat to s***, and always check intrest with your bank, but dont mention that untill the price is already agreed upon. Dealers get a share of the banks the work with, so while giving you a price that you like for a car, they will **** u and make their money on intrest. I simply like telling them i got my own bank towards the end of the deal lol. Then one of two things can happen, they match it, or they can't

splan is invoice for the car. a base gt that stickers for 24650 will invoice/splan for 23292. the only thing i am unsure about is dealers in larger markets charlotte nc and raleigh nc for example in my state, will have an advertisment assesment built into the invoice price. msrp is not higher, but invoice will be higher than a like car at a smaller town dealer. im not sure if splan for them will be invoice minus assesment or invoice with assesment. im glad mazda allowed splan pricing for it finally. when i bought mine it wasnt available, but luckily i work at the dealership.

my guess is they do qualify for s plan but they dont want you to know that way they can keep there money

+1...do you know me??? ;)
I could not have said it any better myself. I couldnt get 1k off but I did manage to get the price of the Sirius, autodim/compass mirror and wheel locks taken off...over the phone. 15 minutes later, the jackass from Wayne Mazda (different dealer) called me back to tell me they could make some adjustments on the price and I told them where to stick it. Just as long as you leave them knowing that they can come close or meet your price, they will call back.

I bought mine at wayne mazda, took about 4-5 visits and i got my price lol

Well, it was kinda far for me to do that bu they also treated me like a real jerk so I would rather give my money to someone else. They just got the car the same day I was there, hadn't even put all the fuses in, no prep work done at all. They were looking to gouge me on doc fees and window etching, which I can get free in NY from the PD if I actually wanted it. They insisted they do the etching for some rediculous price and I flate out refused. The call they made to me was to say they could work out the doc fees and the etching fees but I told them what I was getting from Adzam and that I was on my way there so unless they want to beat that price by $500, I would not be coming down to them. Call ended.

I just told them that I want SPlan pricing, these guys were like, ok sure.

Friendly dealers, unlike some of the others around. Just tell them that the Speed 3s fall under that category, if not, I don't know what to tell you...

As for the SPlan being a scam, I suppose that they were desperate to sell the car? Either way, I still got my Speed3! :)

Its not that you're getting something, just a cheaper price.... From 24650.00 to 23232.00; after the deal; 25545.00. It could've been 27000.00 some odd dollars w/TTL if not for the S-Plan deal. So yeah, if they made a grand or so off me, then so be it; at least I feel the sales man deserved it. He kept me informed with everything inbound to the dealer, treated me with respect; and not being pushy... I can tell right away when someone just wants to "Sell" me a car. This guy was sincere about it all. so yeah, he can have my 1000.00 or so dollars..... He falls in the 1% of salesmen I'd deal with anytime..... the other 99% can kiss my butt. :)

Sooo... buying a car at invoice isn't 'something'?

Like i said before, shop around and actually take longer than 1 day to buy a car. IF the s plan is such a great discount why did i get my gt for lower than that without any plans.
Back to this one later

For a car like a corolla or camry, basically anything that out on the roads, my final price otd for that car is sticker minus 1k. For a "hotter" car that is in demand my final price OTD that i am willing to pay is sticker. The sticker for my car was 24800 i got it for 24907 but i really liked this car so i ate the 107 bucks lol.

A rather strange strategy if you ask me. Depending on certain variables, I strive to be as close to invoice as possible. (the invoice I've found online from a trusted source, mind you.) Shooting for $1k off of the sticker (I'm assuming you meant 'out the door') is far too vague if you ask me. Let's say my sales tax is half of what yours is. By using this strategy, you're getting a far better deal.

Instead, knowing ahead of time what the dealerships fees are (conveyence, title, plates, etc.) before you even put on your negotiating cap is the way to go. Once you're ready, shoot for a price as close to invoice as possible. (I personally want to be within $500) If there are rebates, know that they don't affect the dealership (or the salesman's commission) so getting a car for around $500 over invoice is still very much doable. Tax, title & the rest come down to your state and the dealership. Since most dealerships fees are within the same realm, that's generally not a deal-breaker.

btw never trade in cars unless they are beat to s***, and always check intrest with your bank, but dont mention that untill the price is already agreed upon. Dealers get a share of the banks the work with, so while giving you a price that you like for a car, they will **** u and make their money on intrest. I simply like telling them i got my own bank towards the end of the deal lol. Then one of two things can happen, they match it, or they can't

The more a car is 'beat to s***' the less it's worth either as a trade or on the open market. Overall, I'm with you in terms of selling the car yourself. However, it's not always that cut-and-dry. A lot of people just don't have the time, patience or know-how to handle that sort of thing themselves. Combined with the aforementioned hassles, after you factor in the tax savings (which can often times negate, or at least consume a large chunk of the extra $$$ you would have made selling it yourself) it suddenly isn't quite as appealing of an option as you first may have thought.

For what it's worth, I'm not a big fan of your overall strategy with dealing with car salesman. I realize their reputation as being 'scum' is often times justified. I suppose if I HAVE to deal with someone like that, I'll play their game and treat them the same way. However, believe it or not, there ARE car salesman out there with class that deserve our respect. (the golden rule comes to mind.) Being in sales myself, I understand that importance and power of being assertive. There is a line that can be crossed, however. Once you do, the person you're working with will be far less inclined to help you. Simply put... being a dick (or a pushover) won't get you very far in life. Those of us who stand up for ourselves and are willing to be firm, yet fair... while demonstrating a level of class by giving as much respect as you'd like in return.... these are the people who get ahead.

The s plan is a scam...what dont u understand about this. Wait somehow i got my car below the all mighty s plan. My dickhead **** every salesman in the ass style of buying cars might be crude, but it works. These poeple make money off you no matter what. Who actually puts on these "invoice" numbers, cause im willing to bet they sure as hell are not true.

Im an asshole when salesman are pushy. The ultimate line is, "if i give you this price will u take the car home today" that right there pushes my "asshole" button. Another famous line is "if i can get your monthly payment down to xxx will you take the car today" I usually reply with "dont worry about what i can afford a month, i want final number on the car out the door" Then comes the "well how much are you putting down" Then i reply with "dont worry about my monthy payment i want final numbers out the door". These salesman are trained too suck every dollar out of you, dont make it easy and fall for this s***.
