Anyone have some good pics of the CX-7 with the Aero package? So far, all I have been able to find is this:

http://www.canterburymazda.co.nz/part_products.php?category_id=7

Also, since the 07's already have a small spoiler in the back, will it have to be removed to install the Aero package spoiler? Is it available in the US yet? Is there an aftermarket front spoiler/air dam already available? Thanks

^Nice... the wife has been going nuts over the larger spoiler. Not sure what the other parts of the package are?

Yeah I was looking at the Underguards myself, but I think I may go for the aero package... I have to see what it really looks like before making a decision...

I think the front is just wind splitter which to me is just ehh.. maybe I'll just stick with my scuff plates look. I think they look sick on the CX-7

pls post some pics too after, also is the installation hard (need to drill holes or just use a peel off tape).. Ty

No telling how long it will take arrive, my local Mazda dealer can't order them, so I suspect it will take the dealership in the link above a while to ship it out to me. Unless the install is very easy, I don't plan on installing it myself, but I will post some pics along with some install details. Am hopefull on the delivery time, response was quick from the dealership:

"This will take 2-3 days to get to me then I will ship them to you via UPS. I will supply you the tracking#. JMBaggie"

I don't know which I like better now...I feel like if the kit included a body color front splitter, side skirts and rear valence I'd be more inclined to go for it. I think I'm gonna stick with the scuff plates myself

Well, not impressed with Mazda Canada's customer service. After seeing this post, and seeing the part available in the USA, I e-mailed Mazda Canada to get some information on this part, this is the wonderful reply I received back;

We appreciate your interest in Mazda.

For availability and price, please contact the Sales Department of a Mazda dealership as they are in the best position to assist you with your request. Clarifies your question, maybe they could try answering a question or two. Instead of just passing it off to their dealers.

I did contact one Mazda dealer in Edmonton, seems they don't have this part number listed at all. I am very impressed! NOT!!:'(

Spoke to the parts department at MedCenter Mazda, Birmingham AL.
They told me the aero kit was $312 and $237 for installation, total $549, with a 3-hour installation time. Order time 2-days.

Whaddya think??

I'm sure its not that hard to install yourself. If its like the foglight kit - it should come with pretty detailed instructions.

Looking under the front bumper, there are a bunch of screws right at the lip - I bet you just take them out, put the front bumper attachment on, and put the screws back in. As for the rear spoiler, I don't know.

But like I said, the instructions for the fog lights were DETAILED, and that is what the dealership uses to install them - the same instructions you would have. If you have any ability to use tools and are like 10% mechanically inclined, I bet its easy.

I would say its probably not worth the 237 installation unless you need whatever warranty comes with the installation. Or you could just simply order the kit - take it home to look at the instructions (scan it to pdf and upload a copy ;) ) If its too hard, call the dealer to have them install it.

Sounds simple enough on the front, it's the rear spoiler that I would not want to attempt myself. Good point on the warranty. I'll definitely check this out. Thx for the reply.
