2007 cx7 picked up today

Hey everyone. Just picked up my cx7 today. My wife had it an hour. And im pissed. It smokes out an entire intersection upon acceleration not just your normal smoke from idling. I mean a full on smoke show. I think the dealer put regular gas in it. they couldnt find the reciept from the station. Check engine light came on #2 cyl acting up. It started bogging and pinging. Any thoughts on this

the gas doesn't have anything to do with it. the issue you are having is your turbo seals are leaking oil. one workaround is to use a heavier oil like 5w40, otherwise you'll need a turbo replacement. If you are still under warranty you should be able to claim it.

Thanks for the info. The idiot sales guy put regular fuel in it. Had them drain the tank and put premium in it problem solved

i have an 07 cx7 as well. ive had it since new and i put cheap gas in it, ONCE, never again. it didnt even wanna run, kept bogging and stalling. bad idea, lol.

wannabe is correct in my opinion. Keep an eye on the smoking issue.
