2007 BMW 335i twin turbo

tough call between the 335 and the new m3. dunno when the m3 is due for release though

apparently the people over at bmw have their heads on straight. that 3 series is badass

the 335 in either the coupe' or sedan is a great car for the money. Although I am looking foward to the new M3s raw N/A power. Due to release mid 08 I belive.

The problem with the M3 is the pre-order line is already full at pretty much every dealer in the states.

Should be an impressive car nonetheless.

The 335 coupe will eat a E46 M3 for supper 0-60. Handling is probably a different story i'm sure.

i see a trade-in in your future

if you have 2 cars at nearly the same power output, one being turboed, the other N/A, i'd definitely choose the N/A

it's easy to add power to those cars. the best thing about parts for bmw is that not many of them are half-assed. quality parts made for a quality car

but for the price, i'd rather buy an Elise. plus, i love my ass being that close to the ground. lol

Personaly, I woul only buy an Elise to run it hard at the track. Otherwise it is a pretty bad daily driver, especially in NoVA traffic.

This guy is serious. He doesn't bother with the blue 3M masking tape to protect his baby from cone-shaped missiles hurtling at his car. Plus he's got a pretty serious GPS data acquisition system to track speeds at various point on the course. Nice!

Sorry for the OT post. The great part about modern ECU controlled turbo engines is that they are often tuned for 100,000+ miles reliability andemissions. If you're willing to do a little extra maint then you can have a considerably more powerful car for the price of a piggy-back or replacement ECU. That does not spell $$$$ to me...

Edit: Does anyone else see my sig ion both posts on this page? Did I miss a rules change?

Edit 2: Boo, it went away when I added the edit.
