Agreed. I saw a vid demonstrating the strap holding a 25 pound sack of books.. what the hell are people doing with the wiimote to break the strap??

(yes, I know it isn't just about how much weight it can hold in a static context.. I took Univ. Physics I-III lol)
 
well really, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure a way to reinforce the strap so it won't break.. but all it takes is one remote to snap the strap and someone get it in the face for a lawsuit to start.. so i don't blame them for wanting it back..

and its not a matter of letting the remote go, cause some games your not even holding the remote.. its just hanging from your wrist..
 
i havent played any that have it just hanging, if ur referring to the classic controller, then why stand for a 2d game, otherwise its all wii remote isnt it? i havent see any that just use the nunchuck. so that the wiimote is just flying off ur wrist.

edit: i do understand what ur saying though , i jsut havent seen any games or reason to have a remote hanging off ur wrist, that would be kinda uncomfortable.

They don't want it back though.. you just call them or go to their site and get a new one. There is no real "recall", it's all quite voluntary. I don't plan on wasting my time with it just to spite the haters :P
