2006 MS6 Headlights

^^^ Agreed. It should work, although you'll actually see less. You may notice it more in short distance because of the distinctive colour, but you definitely won't be putting as much light on the road as before. I mean to be honest, if 10,000k is the look you really want, this would be the cheapest/simplest way to achieve it. Just making sure you know it will reduce the light output.

In other words it would be best to get the HID and call it a day. I honestly don’t like going cheap but if there’s an alternative I would take. But if it will actually hinder the function of the headlights I'm not going for it.

Snake134; 10k on this website i found (not ebay s***) stated that there 10k were deep blue. However I am going for the Xenon Hid kit 8K deep blue bulbs

I think it depends how picky the local enforcement is. I've seen guys in Toronto with pretty blue headlights, but probably nothing higher than 8000k... I saw one car with purple fogs, but I don't know if that means people have tried it and been forced to remove the bulbs, or if people just aren't doing it.

It's tough to really say what colour you'd end up with, since there are so many different comparison charts floating around, but these should give you a general idea... keep in mind that on the road, you'll be comparing them against mostly halogen, and the higher temps will stick out like a sore thumb.

(sorry for all the pics, but you can see the huge variance in claimed output... look at the last one, not getting purple until 30,000k... 30,000k is insane to put in a headlight! Most of thise are just the same picture photoshopped to add colour, and give a vague impression of the final product.)
