2006 honda civic si or scion tc???

No, I think it's most important that I decide what's best for everyone. (wink) He'll get the Si, because all the vendors will be immediately engineering mod's for it, and because I say so. But if for some reason (which I'll keep to myself) that doesn't work out, then I require that he get the latest issue of Sport Compact Car, which has the 10 "best" used cars to get for mod'ing on the cheap. Or a '94 MR2, whichever come first.

why do you need us to decide? Just go test drive and get what you want.

Why buy another car to mod? You'll just break yourself. Pick the car you want to mod, then buy a car that you can drive daily, stock, and easily afford. A Tc would be the best bet due to the price. Just make sure you stick to one car for modd'ing.

actually im sharing the msp with my brother, thats why i want my car that i can mod with no problems and have fun when ever i want. thats why i need tow cars i still sharing the new car sometimes but that will be my daily driving car.

All I can say is, wait for the si to come out and try both of them. I cant' really give you an opinion because I have never seen a tc (they have them up here in Canada). By the way, if you throw in the rsx type-s in your options, I would take the type-s in a heartbeat. It is more luxurious and you're sure that it'll have a higher resale value later (cuz it's an acura).

I like what the last guy said. Wait for the SI to come out. If it looks half as good as the concept car go for it. The Si is getting a 200 hp n/a where as the TC is like 160 n/a. I thought the TC had a S/C option but MSN didn't have it listed. I heard it was going to be around 220 hp. Don't know. Yes the TC can handle insane amount of boost. But so can Honda, even better is the market for the honda. In a yr or so there will be so much out there for the SI and it'll be cheaper. Plus the SI will hold value better. I say SI unless it's ugly!

If the specs and stats on the new Si are correct, then it will blow away the tC from the start. That and virtually no depreciation and the ease of selling it(in case you need to), I say wait for the Si.

well yeah it has 40hp more than the tc but is going to be more expensive than the tc isn't?? i decide for the scion due to the price and that the car is easy to find , the honda is going to be hard to find and is going to be 22k to 24k the dealer said to me when i asked them the release date is sep 15 for the sedan for the si will be in the next year early febrary so im getting the tc in titanium with the bodykit and a spoiler. anyway thanks for the opinions .
