2006 Black MS6 not really black?

I'm not sure if the question has been asked before, I did a search but could not find anything related to this.

I bought a used 2006 MS6 about 4 months ago. It is black. Well, I thought it was.

after a full cleaning of the car, waxing, etc, I noticed that my car was actually a very dark grey, sort of like a "dirty look" black.

I was wondering i all the 2006 black Speed6 were like that, or if I actually had a repainted car...

They are all like it, park it next to a regular black 6 and you'll really see the difference

Thanks, it's good to know... but I'm still wondering why??? Glossy black is so nice to see compared to ours.

i think its black mica like the ms3! and its got met. and pearl in it! and thats whats make it "dirty black" they are cool when the sun hits it but other then then it looks dull

Yeah the MS6's black has a ton of metal flake in it. I prefer the chamelion colors in the Black Cherry. (naughty)
