what are your opinions of this car?... i'm thinking about getting one and i've been looking around and there is alot of aftermarket products for this car. i think that if you buy the hondata, header, exhaust, cai, the car will be reasonably quick, and alittle quicker if you go turbo. all opinions welcome and some modification advice as well. and i will be going for the jdm look. any ideas?

i think the new rsx is sweet. it looks more sophisticated than the old model, and the increase in horsepower and torque are def. a plus. and its quick! my friend just bought a black one and he lowered it..looks hottt

the 02 was my first choice, i still love it, it's a great car with good power and awsome interior, the 05 is even better

plus, there is a shirload of aftermarket support for it...unlike the protege....

The type-s is awesome. 210 hp, 8k redline, nice interior and silky smooth shifter... will most likely be my next car.

i figure if i get that and buy the hondata, header, cai, exhaust, forged internals and a nice turbo system it should be sweet. i've already picked out a nice body kit for it and i think i'm going all out black, it comes in a black pearl, black out the windows, black chrome wheels , and the jdm headlight and tailight kits. i do have alittle over $6500.00 to invest in mods, but i want to keep the warranty as long as possible...yeah right....i'm just thinking about the mods and the warranty is already gone...lol...keep em comming...more thoughts and ideas

Awesome car! I test drove one, nice interior, good handling, responsive engine. I would suggest waiting towards the end of the year. If rumors hold true, they will discontinue the RSX after this year. At the end of 2004 out here in Cali they had the type-s for 19000 because sales are not to good for the RSX.

If the RSX is discontinued it only means that Honda is going to be making one bad ass civic (finally) and that is possible.

Rumers have it that the current Si engine will be the EX engine and that the current Type S engine will be the SI/type R model in some form. But you wont be seeing these for 2 years. Any car you get you'll always find something else you want.

As far as the RSX, it is an awesome car in 2005 form, good looks, improved all around from 2004 and HUGE aftermarket. The only think I don't like is that everyone and there mom has one, but that's the story with Honda no matter how you slice it. I want to get a CRX some day myself or maybe in 10 years I'll get a cheap ass RSX, so I can't be a Honda hater. The RSX is Nice!!!

it was about $20 more then my protege5 was when got a quote.
but my record is clean, and im 22.

The rsx can not come turbo from the dealer, right? I don't know a lot about honda's/acura's but I didn't think they had any stock turbo cars. My friend and I were arguing about this the other night. He said he test drove one and the dealer was telling him it had a turbo... (confused)

Sorry man, I don't go around researching every other car on the planet. Like I said, I don't know alot about honda and acuras. I know a lot about the car I own, but not too much about others. Why should I?
I'm gonna guess from your response that I was right in thinking turbo acuras/hondas don't exist. (Not off the lot anyways)

New Civic Si with 200Hp sounds about right as a replacement... not that its what I want but it works
