2004 Mazda RX-8 GT not running

2004 Mazda RX-8 GT not running

Currently, I have a 2004 Silver Mazda RX-8 for sale. Silver in color with a CLEAN TITLE. The car is not running, which is why I have to sell it. I would like someone who is a car enthusiast or has a passion to build this car back to running condition. The motor will NOT start. I am not sure exactly what is wrong with the motor. One day, I started the car to warm it up and next thing I know is that the car just shuts off on me and won't start up again.

85,XXX on the motor

The car still has a lien on it from the bank. I still owe a little over 3k left on the loan. Really, I would like to this car sold before August 18th, or else it's going back to the bank for repossession. I am open to offers, but not to low ballers. Please feel free to contact me, if you have any questions or concerns.

Pros about the car:
-Clean Title
-Clean body, chassis, paint, and never abused
-Navigation System
-Bose Speaker Sound System
-Leather Seating throughout entire car

UPGRADEs
-Enkei Evolution X Alloy Wheels
-Test pipe (forgot the brand, but paid $160 for it)

CONS about the car:
-Nonrunning motor
-One ding on the passenger-side door (easy to fix)
-No springs or shocks (if you want, I can sell and add on Tein Flex Coilovers for an additional price)

My cell number is (six-two-six) - two zero two - nine four five seven, and ask for Mike.

List Date: 8/26/2013

Doesn't the fact that the bank has a lien on it mean that the title is not clean.

Clean, as in not salvage or rebuilt. Just not "clear". I'd buy out the loan but this likely has already been repod.

Too bad it had 85K on it. Mazda would have replaced the first engine before 80K!!!

RX8, rough or no start @ 85k. sounds like the all too common compression loss. Finicky, fragile engines those rotaries are. I've got one, and it's a day to day check the oil...add oil...check the oil...add oil. Speaking of which, my rx8 is pushing 77K now. I need to go get its compression checked.
