Huge Mazda fan myself and going to check out a Mazda6 tomorrow with my friend, car is for him. I am plenty happy with my P5
The person claims it needs a new engine or a re-build, but RUNS.
In any case, just wanted to get a few pointers around here of what I should check on the car tomorrow. I don't know these cars at all, what kind of engine problems do people see these cars suffer from to need a rebuild? Is it the 2.3L or the 3.0L that have the issue.
What are some signs that will tell me to run far from this car, meaning a rebuild is not gonna help. (warped block, specific engine codes, etc.)
Im not new to wrenching, I just don't want to pick up something that will end up being a money pit
