2004 M3 Ecu

Hi guys, Does anyone know if there is an update program for my 2004 Mazda 3 ECU? Also has anyone got pics or how to install a cone air filter. I have the Z6 engine. Thanks. Mike

Z6 engine? you should just be a cold air intake for your car. check some of the vendors in the vendor section they have lots of options to choose from. there is no support for the ecu in our cars the only option is a 1800$$ stand alone called microtech.... intake and exhaust are what most people are putting into their rides. check out the n/a stage 1-3 lists stickied at the top of the engine/performance section...

Thanks for the welcome!! I live in South Africa, in the book it describes my engine as a Z6 engine layout. I was looking at removing the resonator box,as described in N/A Stage 1, however just as I was about to jack up the car, i saw that the the resonator box ISNT situated at the bottom of the car, lol. My engine has the pad filter that sit above the actual engine and the air intake runs from the top right front over the front of the engine then back round the back to the throttle body. I am going get CAI (well i have to make something up) this weekend. Just looking around to see if other peeps have the same engine and have also put a CAI on.

I got some pics posted in the Engine forum, since my topic has moved from my ECU that cant be reprogrammed (shrug)

That forum seems to have more traffic through it. (alright)
