Turbo Matty P...do you have a focus parked next to your P5??? this thread is no different than the many in the Mazda 3 section of this forum in which P5 owners just tear the 3 apart.

This thread is about the appearance of the car, not the quality, performance or any other aspect. i think the fact that the majority who have responded to this thread may be an honest sign that the new design is dulled down and possibly aimed at a more upscale/older group. In relation to the old focus, most of us just don't like the new one.

because after all everything is relative...

I really like the SVT's...these new Foci are getting even more bland...if thats possible.

eting pro5....No I do not own a focus...my "work-at-home" job doesn't afford me the luxery of owning more than 5 cars at once. I was also commenting on the appearance of the new focus. In fact I quote...

"the interior looks almost identical to the new accords. my friend has one and if the focus pic was in grey you couldn't tell them apart."

and....

"The focus RS will be the design for Fords "hot-hatch" foci. the RS is GORGEOUS!!"

and yet still.....

"p.s. Wait for the new focus RS and see what you think about th style then"
