the 3S is the (Sedan) and the 3S hatch is the (Wagon). Plus this car has some power capabilities. For only 160Hp and weighs near 2850-2900lbs, it does the 0-60 and 1/4mile same as a Integ GS-R or 00Civic SI.

There are two sedans, the 3 "I" (144/148hp) and the 3 "S" (160 hp) then the hatch which will always have "S" trim

The regular Mazda econo car will now keep up to the Focus SVT and SPEC V, can't wait for the Speed version.

Mazda 3s may have more HP but our MP3's have more character and better handling. Not to mention you can get in the back seat without taking your head off.

FYI, you're paying more for the better handling in your MP3/MSP. Character is just a matter of opinion/preference.
