I Still want these so bad..I need to wait till after V-day, What's the deal with my girlfriends bday and V-day being on the same weekend...And come on guys get these lights on so I can check them out.

Final assembly, complete, 12 gauge (very thick) with built in brackets and NO GAP AT ALL! I just sent this over to the laser fabrication company. Hopefully they can cut some for me tomorrow.

We'll see if it will work with the PL-362W.

OK
I got my lights done.
Here's the quick and dirty of it:
Top knotch packaging. (bow)
Perfect NEW A+ tip top condition (bow)
Excellent Brackets
Way cool lights
Great light output
Kick ass color rings - Yellow, light blue, MSP blue, green etc

Install went great, only catch is the length of wires going into the car. Pilot does not make these for OUR car. They are universal kits. I had to extend the 7 wires going to the switch. I sodered(sp) and used heat shrink which extended the install time. But now it's factory solid. I mounted the switch over the last knockout plate and over the retarted coin holder. I cut the s*** (pissed) out of my thumb, I think I hit something important cause it's just a joke cut that now actually hurts. (braindead

I need to aim the lights which it sounds like the new brackets will do. I may not wait for them and just do it depending on when I have time to aim them and when the new ones will come....maybe I will just wait.

Go here for pics:

One is with the MSP color ring on and the other is with a flash.

II-Savy, how much extra wire did you need? I am going to get mine installed on Monday and I need to know how much wire to get.

oh I like !

Now I don't know which ones to get :) I like both but I like those better I think.

Get some day shot of her front on later.

The only thing I don't like is that switch....ick. I was going to use the stock switch, but these things have two buttons....hmmmm..

II savy. Do they stick out past the bumper at all? And can you see into the space around the light ( corners of the vents ) and see back there?

kevducridr - I need at least 3 feet to get into the interior.

newf - They do not stick out past the bumper at all. You can not see past the light unless you get on your hands and knees....and if you do that you got other problems (flash) .

The switch is big but it's real cool. It displays what color the halo is and if you have the fog lights on....it is big. ...but it's tucked away nice.

II-Savy

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE KIT???

What kind of wiring did you use? 3 feet?? Holy Crap Batman! lol Well at least I know. Thanks for the help. ;)

I had some thin maybe 18 gauge wire, nothing special at all. The wire that came with the kit from pilot ran from the fogs to just after the battery going tword the hole in the firewall on the drivers side....so yea a good 3 feet.
No problem anything else just ask.

Hmmmm i think im gonna wait till Newf gets his first.... then i'll know what to expect as to brokerage fees....installation......etc... :D

And if theres anyone with the same expectations as me on this board... its newf........so i'll wait till the man does a review on this before i jump on this...

LOL, you might be waiting a while.....between cash, and making up my damn mind that is.

I'm waiting to see the gen3 and some proper day shots of these things before I take the plunge. spelling?

I don't need angel lights, but I do like the fact that they look a lot like the stock ones in terms of size. That switch is still ugly though :) on the other hand, I always found my mp3 lights to be just a tad too big, so maybe the smaller 4" ones would be just right.....damn, I wish I could see these things in person

i dont mind waiting... i just want to make the right choice and be able to make up my god damn mind also lol.......

I have the stock switch + wiring of my MP3......... does that mean i cant control the halos with that switch?

Yeah, the switch controls the halo and the lights. Two buttons. I will be posting pics myself on Monday night.
