With my digital imagery, patience, help from a few co-workers, and my skillz, I have been able to get the outline of the plate in my CAD program to scale. We're talking NO GAPS and squeeze it in until it fits!
I have about an hour or two left in my CAD program until completion.
I'll update everyone accordingly.

FYI - I can place the current GEN II layer and the new GENIII layer on top of each other and look at a digital picture I took and you can see the difference of gaps and now NO GAP.

The GENIII plates are NOT going to be used with the PL-362W. They are only going to be used for 4" and down size lights. We are going to retain the current design for the 5" and larger as the brackets are longer than what I am building into this plate.
