2002 protege5 recent swap now no fuel pressure

hello new to mazdas, i picked up a 2002 protege5 with bad 2.0 engine. i swaped in the jdm motor used all usdm parts intake mani, etc.. only part i left on was the crank sensor. car turns over but has no fuel coming up. i didnt bother to start the car before pulling the motor, but can say it did have small amount of fuel pressure in the lines when i took out motor. I cannot here the fuel pump prime with key, i did check relay and swap it with a working ac relay. any help would be appreciated.(shrug)

You will probably want to post this in the Mazda Protg forum. We are all owners of the Mazda5, which replaces the MPV and looks a bit like a Toyota Sienna that was washed in hot and left in the dryer too long.
