2002 LX Protege Alternator Swap?

My alternator died yesterday and I need another one ASAP. AZ is asking $160 + Core for a duralast one. I read that they suck so I might as well go to a salvage yard for an OEM one for $25.

With my stock alternator, my windows roll down extremely slow and sometimes only one headlight works. So I want to swap for an alternator with 90-110AMPS.
Does anyone know what car comes stock with 90-110amp alternator that fits my protege?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The only one off hand i can think of is the older Mazda Millenia's. They came with a 110 amp Nippon Denso unit. And ive swapped them onto Mazda F2T's, BP's, and so on. But involves a little work, and a plug change.

Id recommend just getting a direct bolt in upgrade like the 140amp upgrade for the Protege's sold by maniacelectricmotors.com. Sometimes its tough to find the listing on there site, but if you message them directly, they def have them. I think the 140amp alt i got from them was about $180-190 shipped.

I ended up getting one from a 2000 4 cylinder 626. It was 80amps like the stock one I had. I just needed to modify and extend the positive terminal a bit. I'll look into the millenia alternator in the future. 140amps is a bit too much, I'm trying to keep it between 100-120.
