In my opinion, it depends on what color the car is. I'm partial to the silver housing. However, my opinion shouldn't sway yours. Make up your own mind.

but i think the silver housing make the headlight look brighter at night, however i got a laser blue with black housing, and my friend got yellow with silver housing....but i like the silver better.

not sure, but all 2003 have black housing, and it doesn't look as bright as the silver one, and i think i like the silver one better...

I think this is only an "option" for Canadian customers her in the US, we only get "Chrome"

It's not an option, all Canadian P5's are blackened headlights..

Looks much better than chrome, but then, I am not a chrome fan..

yes, i have 03.5 and have the silver/chrome housings.. that is US Spec..

I am not fan of chrome but the stock chrome headlights have really grown on me. I just don't think the area inside that is black on those versions is big enough to make it look as good as some others. I'm keeping mine as is.

umm... i think it is just a spec for canadian 03 P5, but anyway I like my black housing headlight too
