yea, if you put it up for around 7 or a little lower it should go. First of all the MP3 is a bad ass car and second of all, if you have good maintanence log it will help it sell. Im the one who bought winty87's car and the good shape+ the great records (and its an MP3) is what sold me

So....

I still have this car, but I found the truck I would like to buy= Someone buys this.

$5250

Bernout, I will buy your car!!! I just joined the forum today for this sole reason.

I am trying to scrape the money together by tomorrow morning but unfortunately will most likely not be able to actually buy your car until Tuesday at the earliest (the 8th). I am unable to get off work tomorrow to come and test drive it and am driving to New Mexico Saturday morning (24 hours non-stop I've been told). I am flying back home Monday very late evening and will have to attempt to come drive it Tuesday after work. If I am able to get a co-driver to drive me up there, and if the car is everything you said it was, I will buy it that night after the test drive.

So if you can hold out over the weekend, I hope to take it off your hands. Please let me know if the roads up there are cleaned up enough for a "spirited" test drive. No, I'm not a hoon, but I am a semi-aggressive driver. If it matters, I'm 30 years old, so rest assure that your car is *hopefully* going into the hands of someone who appreciates cars, and not just a kid who will trash it.

I leave work around 5:30pm, and live in Milwaukee, so any test drive would probably happen in the evening. If this will be a problem, please let me know, and I'll try to juggle my work schedule around somehow with my supervisor's in order to meet in the day/early afternoon.

Thanks!

Yes, I bought his car. The deal went smooth, great seller, no BS. The only thing is that I have to research whether it needs a new shock/spring combo or not. The car seems/sounds like it's hitting its bumpstops whenever I hit a bump. The car doesn't bounce and still handles great, but there seems to be very little give whenever I hit a bump (which is about every 15 seconds on Milwaukee streets haha). My WRX has a very compliant suspension (stock right now) that soaks up bumps very well.

It might just be that I'm not used to such a stiff suspension, and I'll do some reading to see if I need to spend the money or if the money could be spent on other stuff. Thanks Brett.

heheheeeeeeeeeeeeee its stiff for a reason :D

yeah those milwaukee roads(driving down to and around UW-M) were always a great time... thank god the tollways to chicago were half redone this year... avoiding those potholes was hell. Its definately not the typical clunk that were talking about. Must be something with the struts(and yes Lee knew before), haha.

Miss the great handling already. Hope you are enjoying the car!
