2001 Mazda Mp3 Engine Needed

HELLO, I blew my 2001 mp3 engine and need one asap, located in 20877,md.
And if anyone knows what other engine can fit mine!! thank you

Any 2.0L Proteg engine will work (FS-DE)

What he said^. Just put your MP3 ECU on any 2.0 motor and you're golden. Reuse your intake manifold if possible though, as the MP3 intake mani's didn't ahve VTCS

some one told me the some internals are different with the not turbo proteges....is that true?

^not true...block and head are the same.

The only thing I'm not 100% sure...are the bottom ends the same for both auto and standard trannies?

so if i considered this... you know what we totally threadjacked this thing i will post else where... (screw it)...but if i did consider this... what are the basics i would need to get started??

Basics needed to go turbo? If you're wanting to go straight MSP swap, not much actually.

Turbo, manifold, j and S pipes, side mount intercooler, all intercooler piping, MSP ECU, if you want A/C you'll need a MSP radiator with A/C condensor(I THINK), and oil and coolant lines.

I think that's it.

It would be a good idea though to beef up the clutch to possibly a stage I and also to weld the LSD while the car is apart

Forget the LSD if you don't have the MSP tranny. lol
