First two Questions in 20 Questions should always be (unless the first is answered yes):
1. Is it animal?
2. Is it mineral?

So I post number one as my fist question, if answered NO, then I want number two as my next question...

Of course, there are some bacteria and fungii that answer to neither plant nor animal, but I'm hoping that we're not geeking out THAT hard here.
