20" Dueller's back on

I recently took off my winter set of rims/tires and put the Dueller's back on and it is amazing how much better the car handles. It's funny because I knew there was going to be a difference, but it's pretty stark coming from the Blizzak's. I can only imagine how much more of a difference it would make if I had even better tires...

I've had them on for about two days now and I'm having to relearn how to drive the car.

I too have the 20" duellers with 15.5K. Since I will never have to drive or deal with ice or snow, what other type of tires should i consider for both performance [smooth ride] and durability [all the miles I can get]?

Also, if you could pls list what the tires cost that you recommend, that would be great.

There are pages and pages of tire recommendations. Please look around a little before asking.

From what I recall, 90% of all the tire discussions revolve around what tires do and do not work well on ice and snow -sometimes 4-5 pages of people going back and forth on personality clashes

Since tire technologies change, I was looking for any recent experiences that pertain specifically to non-ice/snow or mountain-based driving...Moreover, what you read in rating guides can be both skewed and not pertinent to my driving conditions, thus simplex feedback.

I can attext to the feel of regular tires vs Blizzaks which have a deep tread.

Why are you just removing them now? It's almost June!!

Next time try the Blizzak WS60, instead of the truck-like DM-V1

Yeah, I looked at the WS-60's and they were obviously more expensive. That's why I chose the DM-V1's. I was already spending $1400 for the rim and tire set, which was already a hard sell for the wife.

They did their job even though I really didn't need them this year. Our weather was much milder than last year.

The reason I left them on so long is I just didn't have time to take them off. Too much going on right now...
