it is weird...even after 1.5 years of ownership and ~18k miles everybody who gets into mine says it still has that 'new car smell'?

every once in awhile, when the conditions are right, i get in and i can smell the new car smell for a few minutes.

Same here... Interior still looks and smells new :)

I know what Stealth is saying though. I'm happy with the mods I've done to my car and I look forward to the ones to come. But, there is something magical about the first few weeks with your brand new car. It seems like the possibilities are endless. Unfortunately, then comes the realization that it is the bastard step child of the import after-market. Oh but those first few weeks. lol.

I'm still digging my new car smell.

....well, what's left of it after leaving all my goalie gear in my trunk overnight after playing hockey last week. Ugh...

Been a month and a half since I got my 3, and it still has the new feel to it. Winter will kill that at the latest.

(werd) I remember the day I got mine it was raining so the sales guy drove me over to the service dept where they had an overhang. He was going over all the functions and stuff, how to set the clock, move the seats etc. The whole time he was going thru this I was looking at it in awe like it was a big-ole-happy-package-super-present that I get to take home with me. (sun) It looked like such a tight, fun little ride I couldn't believe, and had to keep telling myself, that it was mine. Elation, I tell you, elation was the feeling I had when I got it. And after over 2 years of having it I still look back at it and stare for a moment before I walk away. :D

My car turned 4 this past Feb and it was our 3 year anniversary March 10th :)

And NO I do not miss teh stockness
