2 tone paint??

Im thinking of repainting my 3 with a 2tone paint job. I was gonna keep the same blue i have now on the bottom, then from that body line thats like 2 inches below the windows i was gonna do the top part black. To break up the two colors i was thinking an orange pinstripe would look nice. If anyone could photoshop this for me (dont even need the pinstripe) i would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyones got any other input lemme hear it. thanks

ps around the trunk i would follow that body line still, all the way around the car.

ignore the rice at the bottom, i was having fun. i don't agree with the orange pinstrip bullpoop, this is a crappy shop, didn't want to spend too much time on it. this just gives you an idea.

how easy is it to clean flat paint compared to normal paint?

Well you still have a protective coat on the paint and it's smooth so I think it would be about the same as regular paint. My boyfriend's nephew has a flat purple old chevy truck...sounds weird but looks surprisingly good. (He's gonna kill me b/c I have no clue what the model is. haha)

hmmm, now the question is......do i go the cheap route and just shoot the top part with matte black paint?? Or do i redo all the blue and get all the scratches and dings out???

It would look cool if you did the whole car in a matte finish. You would def have a one of a kind mazda 3! I'll get my boyfriend to help you out if you have more questions. He was going to do his rx8 like that (matte) but he was afraid the silver would turn out looking just like primer. He knows more about the process than I do.

yeah i saw a blue supra in a magazine that was all matte blue, looked pretty bad ass. Im gonna see about doing the whole thing in a matte finsh, still with the 2tone though.
