Hey guys just wanted to get your opinion on this.
My generic can muffler just crapped out on me. The fiberglass packing is coming off so much that it actually blocking the airflow from the tail pipe. Looks like the honey comb cylinder inside the muffler is all rusted out to the point that the packing is coming off.
So I plan to replace the muffler with an HKS Hi Power muffler. Thing is I don't know which size I should get. I have a 2.5 custom exhaust pipe, so I can go either a muffler with a 2.5 or 3 inch inlet.
Based on what I've seen on youtube and all, the hks with 2.5in inlet and 90mm tip looks small on the MSP. I think the HKS with a 3in inlet looks really good on a MS3, but I dunno know about how it looks on our car. Maybe the 3in inlet is way too big or stands out too much on the MSP, considering the car's back is narrow and smaller than the MS3.
Please let me know what you think. Does the HKS muffler with a 3in inlet/120mm tip looks out of proportion on our MSP?
Thanks
