what interest rate should i expect to get i have an incom of about 2500 a month i have been at my job for three years. I have had a cell phone for years 1 credit card but no big purchases. what can i expect as far as a down payment. I am just lookin for estimates here. I have 4000 cash should i give it all as down. all the advice you guys have will be apreciated

Well, first thing is check your credit score for sure, it costs like $12 bucks, print it out, and bring it with you wherever you get the loan. Based on what you described, you should have very good credit. They should give you 3.9apr. If they won't, I would try a credit union. That's a fairly standard rate for a credit union. As far as down payment, put the most you can reasonably afford, remember you're going to need to get full coverage right away. Alot of factors will determine how much that's going to set you back, but check with your insurance company, and maybe shop around if you don't like what they tell you. Also I would recommend going for the shortest payment cycle you can afford and still maintain the sort of lifestyle you want. 36 is the most I would go personally, but as long as you're not doing 60months I think you're ok.

I'm a first time buyer as well and they said they basically would give me the lowest interest rate that they can offer, which again is 3.9%. I'm doing 60 months for my financing, which kills me, but it's the only way I can afford it. With 6000 down my payments are gonna be around 270, and I got a fully loaded 3s save navigation. But yeah, keep an eye out for special offers on interest rates.. First few weeks of summer are usually good for that.

I got 3.9% too. That's the lowest Mazda Credit gives for the Mazda 3 because it's so new. I gave $2300 down, and I'm paying 299 month. It's not too bad. I'm paying more than the 299 so I can pay it off sooner. I wasn't going to buy a new car, but when I test drove the Mazda 3 I had to have it, it's the best car for the money, bar none! Anyone who says it's not is (screwy)

I WOULD ONLY PUT DOWN ENOUGH TO COVER THE TAXES & TITLE, WHEN
BORROWING CASH AT THAT LOW OF A RATE ( 3.9% ) IT'S LIKE FREE MONEY
YOUR BEST OFF TO FINANCE THE REST, BUT I WOULDN'T GO MORE THAN
48 MONTHS LOAN TERM. KEEP THE REST OF YOUR DOWN PAYMENT IN THE BANK FOR AN EMERGENCY (LIKE INSURANCE HIKE ON A NEW MODEL,WHICH
CAN HAPPEN HALF WAY THRU YOUR COVERAGE) DEPENDING UPON CRASH REPAIR COSTS....USULLY NOT DETERMINED FOR ABOUT A YEAR IN SERVICE...!!! OR OTHER RELATED UPKEEP THAT MAY OCCUR LIKE BENT WHEEL USUALLY LESS THAN YOUR DEDUCTIBLE....ie; OUT OF POCKET REPAIR....!!!
WELL I HOPE THIS HELPS...!!!GOOD LUCK...!!!

Thank you guys i really apreciate the advice i was thinkin i was going to have to take 18% since i was a new buyer cus my sister got stuck with 21%she had no credit at all . As you said, you are in Canada so your money is not worth much, he he!
(spin)

Here in the good ol' USA the best interest rate for the Mazda 3 is 3.9%.
