No offense to anyone but...I personally think the Evo8 looks like s***. I think they overdid the front end BIGTIME. What is the need for four air duct areas on the front, small ducts at that,and half are blocked by upper framework and so on. Im glad that I bought the MSP, not to mention I saved myself about $13K by getting that instead of the Evo8. Also...wait until after the warranty runs out and the AWD goes out. Big bucks to have that fixed. Thought I'd share that with the rest of the class.

Only 64 McLaren F1 Road Cars were built for the street. The remaining 36 built, were for racing.

It is unlikely, that anytime in the near future (if ever), there will be a faster production street car. Andy Wallace was clocked at 240.14 mph at the VW testing facility in Germany. They simply removed the elevating rear spolier, and removed the speed governor to achieve this all-time highest top speed.

Not mention; the McLaren is capable of 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

Collectible? Oh yeah! They have brought as much as $1,400,000.00 on the secondary market.

even if u got the $, good luck finding one. and would it be reasonable to assume that the car was driven EXTREMELY hard given its capabilities? i think so.
As for the evo.. that s*** is ugly! God bless its performance but the styling is appalling. I count 8 air ducts (sum i see are definitly connected but still are seperated by the lines of the front end. WTF is there 8 ducts for?? Looks like a fawking frog ran over by a lawn mower...

people don't realize how amazing RX-7's are till they own one. hell i didn't think the 88 TII i had was much till i got behind the wheel and took some nice back roads thing stuck like glue and the power was so smooth. very addictive.

the suspension was a bit on the week old side and this was before i got the turbo back 60hp adding exhaust. things got real fun after that

If you search on Kazaa, there is a video of an RX-7 that flips on the salt flats...It says Rx-7 crash at 220mph...Is this THE car that hit it? on another run im sure
