1st 3 Intake !!!!!!

Hello 3 owners. I got bored last night and decided to shop around... looking at similarities of intakes, I have created a short ram, and cold air intake for my Mazda 3 !!!! It is soooo beautiful! I have the first MZ3 intake out there and I did it all out of other intakes! and it looks like it was made for the car!! When I put the cold air on I don't know if the piping is too small.. or what the deal is but it was bogging out so I took it off... and then I put the short ram on and it's fine! I threw a CEL with the CAI but not with the SRI. It's kinda hard to get use to because of the electronic throttle body, if you WOT, it bogs out for a second then picks up, but if you feather it, half throttle then slowly to WOT it's awesome! and when it hits about 5100rpm.. kick back!!! haha anyways I will TRY and get my boss to take pictures today. he has just been really busy. Hopefully though. I'll keep you posted. by the way.. my 3 is lowered beyond lowered, and has a custom exhuast. so the impossible is possible with a little brain power. (uhm)

see what I ment about the cai...go to home depot and get the rubber base for the smoke stack 3 inch in diamiter and make a heat shield...thats what I did with sucess. pipe got hot but filter is nice and cold after 45 minutes of redline shifts.

did u unhook the battery for 30 minutes and then try it. i know on some cars if u do this it will reset the computer and it will adjust whats nessicary for the new amont of air coming in.

i posted pics yesterday. and i unhooked the battery for like 2 minutes and the cel went off.
