I have just bought a Mazda5 sport, I am picking it up next week and I have asked the garage to put 19" alloys on it - I am worried that these will be too big as not many people seem to run thiers on 19's.

Any thoughts?

Well with the right tires you'll be fine. Tire Rack recommends 235/35R19.

Hi 19's will fit ,but you will need 225/35/19 with offset + 48 and maybe higher. Right now i have 225/35/19 on with +38 and fender rolled. Dkaz what are ur driving habbits, cause i see u get really great gas milage. What am i doing wrong?

I'm closer to 10.5L/100km these days with stupid winter gas formula and winter tires. I get better mileage in the summer! Also, wider tires will affect fuel economy a little bit.

Wow,that still better than mine. When i slam my 5 with Mazda 3 springs, it was like scrapping the ground ( 2.2 in the front and 2.5 in the rear). The rear was toe out to compensate the negative camber, i think that's why it hurt my gas mileage. But with the 225/35/19 it did affect the gas mileage a lot.
