19s on a P5 ... Size Help Needed

you need at least +48 or above for the offset...if you could find 19x7 im thinkin would also be better...let me know if you find a wheel that is 19x7 with a 48 or more offset...

so 19x7.5 with a +44 offset wont work?
lol virginia (thats ur name right?).. i was thinking about getting 19's this week too.. my friend offered to let me borrow the $2000+ but i dunno.. should i do it?

I am running 19X7 Arospeeds' with +45 offset and 215/35 Pirellis. Lowered 2.25" and no rubbing on back at all, I can make it rub the front cornering hard/ plastic liner sits down on top of the tire. I think I make it okay because wheel is only 7" wide. Sitting still my rear tires tuck the tread, and no gap on front(2thumbs)

We will have to meet up one day RyanJay at some meet somewhere. I love parking with my wheels turned a bit, and when walking back to the car just staring at the front tires less than a c**t hair from the fender. 19s really are freakin huge on these cars. I wouldn't think it would have made too much of a difference from 18s but it sure does. I have new springs now which lowered it more than the sprints did, and now I can't fit a cigarette between the rear fender and tire. Love it when wheels fill every bit of fender gap(2thumbs)

haha. nice... I love having all the wheels tucked a bit... well a lot in the rear :)

Hey SlamedP5, overall how did you like those Sprint springs? I've been eyeing those and I just wanted to hear something from someone who's been running them

The ride with the sprints was close to stock, maybe slightly stiffer. They were good springs, I was just looking for something that gave more of a drop.

so if i got 215/35/19x7.5's +44 offset.. do you think it would rub with my stock MSP springs.. or how about with different springs.. what springs would u guys suggest?

That should fit, sedans require a lower offset than P5s to tuck. mine are 7" wide and +45 and i have no probs. You will probably end up lowering it, mine looked like a 4X4 with the 19s and stock height. It raised the whole car a good bit. I would say goldlines if you are looking for a good drop, i got 2.25" drop out of them on my p5. Good luck. (2thumbs)

8" wide wheels will not fit on a Protege.
They will, but it involves some fender modifications, and the proper offset. We were going to do 17x8 Work meister s1's on my car this summer.
