a 99 si was the best car i owned .. and id go back to it anyday

apperantly not only i liked but also someone else since it got stolen

funny fact my 4.5 years old si was worth more than a brand new p5 so i figured i may as well start fresh

dont know anything about mp3's but i bet it doesnt rev nor spin up anything like the 8-8.3k red line in an si
Yea mazda's don't spin up to 8-8.3k cuz they have more low end torque than hondas. That is where honda's make all there power.

it really begged to be driven .. it was like .. please step on it .. please downshift .. its like a toy that wants to play more than you do

sorry this just awoke some momories

again dont know much about mp3s but my p5 doesnt rev doesnt like to stay in a gear and just go ... its more like let me finish this sandwich while i change from 2nd to 3rd

I run With Lightly modded RSX-S's and GS-R's. LS integra's and Si's are no comparison for me on a 20roll to about 80-90mph!!!!(naughty)

Before ever having my MSP, I would have said Si. But Mazda has made a believer out of me. So...MP3.

Ooops too late.

As a newb to turbo cars I might be overreacting, but that 1.8t packs some torque. He doesn't even want to do any big mods because we're both scared he'll get himself in trouble.

p.s. that six speed is smooth as hell. Long ass throws, and a little loose compared to my kartboy, but smooth as anything.

Those 1.8t's are nice, I almost bought one. Then I drove my buddies, chipped...changed my mind. Sure, lots of torque. But when the boost gauge reads 20psi on that little turbo, the pull does not impress me. GTi's are tanks too.

But speaking of rare...the 337 is an awesome choice if you are gonna go VW. Props to ya for picking the right one and much luck to ya hooking it up.

Thanks Im loving this car. A little too much (13.4mpg) =D And itt really doesnt feel that heavy to me. The 337 weighs 2857lbs which is a little more than a p5, but im also a small person (130lbs), so it evens out. Now im off to put some gas in my baby. lol she needs it.

my g/f really bitches on the milage she gets with her 05' Jetta with the 1.8T (great engine). She does mostly city driving and gets between 23-25 on average. She was getting 30+ with her 01' Sentra GXE wit the same driving.

If I was driving the Jetta 100% of the time I am sure I would be averaging in the teens.....no problem!

lol its not that hard... The turbo spools pretty early (2800 or so) and from then on... well... ear to ear my friend. Untill 6k or so... then it just kind of falls on its face. A downpipe should fix that.
