i need help to figure out why i have no spark. there is power going to the coil and the coil is good i just replaced it with new one. any ideas would help.

Most likely a distributor failure. Have you checked to see if the ground side of the coil is working? Put your testlight alligator clip on B+ and probe the ground wire at the coil. If while cranking it flickers, chances are you have a bad coil assuming you are checking spark at the coil. If it doesn't flicker, then its most likely an igniter failure.

wouldnt you need to get spark at the coil first in order for u to see if the distributer was bad?

ECT sensors in our year can cause a no spark. Mine went. Dizzys are also common in our year.

ok now a new igniter, coil, and distributer, cap and rotor and still no spark any more ideas?

You need to look up and see what voltages are supposed to be at what wires at the dizzy and coil, the PCM might not be sending the sig for the dizzy to send the spark.
