194 Polarg Hyper White for our cluster guage?

Alright. You cannot take the needles off without breaking the shafts that they are attached to. There's a member on here who is currently in the process of obtaining some more stock shafts/needles/whatever else so that he can fix his broken needles and he may offer some on here.

I'm not sure how this guy replaces needles with different colored ones but it's not as simple as the Honda "snap and forget it" kinda deal. Make sure you get the entire needle assembly. You CAN repair the needle IF you get that whole shaft assembly but there's no other way from what he found out. And he has to order the shafts from Japan directly. I'd make VERY sure these things work as described before you start pulling your stock needles off thinking it'll work.

Dont mean to thread jack, but where can you get new needles, i broke my fuel gauge and temp. gauge when i put my indiglo on my Mp3.
Anthony

Or would i have to buy the whole cluster all over again?

hmm... how can we get rid of that oragne color....

i think by removing the red film or changing the bulb behind the
cluster. If i were to ask, Id like mine white and blue needles :p

If anyone could show us a HOW-TO, that would be AWESOME.

I don't think changing bulb is easy...
where you going to get the bulb and do you know the bulb type?

ok heres the deal people the reason u can change the color of the needles is because the needles are 2 piece. There is a clear/translucent layer and then there is the orange layer. They send instructions on how to carefully seperate them so that their kits will work fine.

The biggest thing to check is if you have a pro with the black gauges you will need their white gauge faces for the gauge lights to work properly.

I repeat they DO NOT sell the needles themselves, and it is NOT A 194 bulb that they use for the needles, they only use the 194 bulbs for the actual gauge faces.

For the needle they use a special ring sorta like a tiny angel eyes that is made to fit in where the stock needle bulb goes, this ring is what cause the needle to glow.

here is the main message about fitment and application.
We have come up with a new and innovative way of creating the ultimate custom look for any set of gauges. We have developed a low profile carbon fiber powered light ring that sits underneath the stock needles. Indiglo can catch the eye very well but a piece of the gauge cluster that is not only brighter but also moving can really attract much needed attention. If you are tired of the Indiglo look these are for you. New technology has made all this possible without major modification to the cluster. All kits come with a detailed instruction manual to aid making your cluster the hottest on the block.

The IntelliGlow needle kits will require 2 things to work with your vehicle.

1. Your vehicles gauges must have needles made of a Lexan based material. (Application chart below) We do not provide new needles with the kit so the factory needles must be compatible. If your needles are clear with a white painted back, or another light colored back then the needles are made of a Lexan based material. Take a look at your needles from the side to see if they are clear. Needles that are solid all the way through will not work.
2. Your vehicle must run on a 12 volt system with a negative chassis. (Pretty much all vehicles)

Now here is the GB info and if I have enough interested I will talk to a mod about starting a GB thread and getting this going....

This is based off of a 5 person GB, if we do 10-15-20 more discounts are likely.
2 large 2 small needle kit for $70 shipped to individual addresses
(normally 79) If I have them all shipped to me and ship from here he can do 65 a piece and I would charge 67-68 shipped, probably like 67.

The white overlays for the gauges are $23 a piece shipped to individual addies and 21 if shipped to me, not worth shipping to me here.

He was very adament about being a 1 person business so without employee costs he could cut me better deals, Has a good hookup for all nitrous systems if anyone is interested, i think he specializes in NX, which is perfect for pro's.

Well who is interested?
Im in for the needle kit, figuring by the time this gets going and the GB is in we are lookin at a month or so.

edit: sorry for the long post i wanted to try to answer as many questions as possible up front.

Haha Dexter, you're wacky. Nice sidemarker.

I think those needles would give me a seizure every time I hit redline. @_@ They do look pretty badassen though.
