18x7.5 52.5mm offset tire size?

I'm putting 2nd gen MS3 wheels on my 1st gen MS3. I'm pretty sure the wheels are 18x7.5 and 52.5mm offset. Will 235/40R18 tires fit without issue or should I stick with the 225/40R18 tires?

but that extra 10mm probably won't matter much for clearance. So I'd say 235 would fit.

The 225/40's will be the correct fit of course. The 235/40's will throw off the speedo/odo a bit and you may lose that quick off the line feel to some extent too.

yes the car is lowered on H&R springs with Koni Yellows...sorry don't have many pics as the car is sold pending pick up next week....but there's a few left on my for sale thread in the car for sale section.
