You don't need coilovers. You just need to get the right offset for the rims when you buy them. You also need to be willing to run 35 series tires.

I have nothing to contribute, I just wanted to let Mazdaspeed2oo35 know I was drooling just now.

I really want a pair of those 18x8 rx-8 rims..

to bad I have no money or id be all over the tien ss but its way expensive for me lol

wow like the rx8 rims... how would they look on a black MSP? and tein SS what about JIC or D2... what the word on the street as far a the best setup for a MSP?

I'm in the same boat as you. I really want to see what they look like on our black msp's.. no luck so far.

If it takes too long, you'll just have me as a reference. The guy I bought my car from curbed the s*** out of two of the wheels, and when I get a few other things out of the way, that's next on this list, whether that means getting the same rims or the set of rx-8's which i'm heavily leaning toward. Looks very OEM+, and I love keeping it in the family.

With cars, that is.

Dont think thats a good thing to do to any front wheel drive car. I think it would screw up the handling ALOT! Are you going for a raked stance?

i wanted 18s on my car but i dont think its going to feel right up front when i turn on a bump or sumthing, worried about too much rubbing. so i was just thinking how keeping 17s up front with a fat tire but 18s on the back would look like? i seen it on a beamer w/ stock 18s rear n stock 17s up front it looked clean.

It's the offset you have to woory about, talk to the right person when picking a set of wheels and you will be good. I have 18's on 40 series tires and I don't think I have ever rubbed, I do have the front fender liner trimed but that was because the other set of 18's I had the offset sucked.
