18 x 9 +35mm fitment issues

i was thinking about about getting some new wheels and i was wondering if anyone was running an 18x9 +35mm and has issues wheel rub or the wheel hitting the strut or rub in the rear?

The fronts won't have any issues. For the rear, depending on how low you are, you'll want to roll/pull the fender and much as your can and trim the bumper tab. You'll want to run a 235/40 tire or narrower.

Roll in the back with 225/40 and youre clear... most likely

ya i was thinking about running 225/40 but i was just making sure it wouldn't rub on the inside? and i plan on rolling and pulling the fenders

Dont think you need a pull. I got 8.5 +30, which is about 1-2mm less poke than yours would be. Im maxed down on KW v1s and I do fine with only a roll. But if you want 235s than youll most likely need a pull, or camber adjustment

Question.... Why does everyone run 18x9 or 18x9.5 and then only run a 235 tire? That's just silly. You're just wasting money on a wider rim that won't help you any since your tires are still small. If someone could enlighten me on this logic, or lack of, I would appreciate it.

Because the purpose is not to have a wider tire, its to have aggressive fitment and stance. Were not going for whats most functional, or most grip. Were going for what looks good. Plus, these widths with low offsets... if you were to get a full fitting tire, it would look mexiflush

Ya i know that its not functional for performance, but im going for looks and stance, this car is my daily and its not like a track it or anything so im just gonna make it look super sick and stanced. but ya im gonna get camber linkage. but i mainly want these rims because they are so light for how much they cost so in my opinion they are a win win for me.
