18" Rub???

Whats up all.....I have a 2003 Mazda6i and i just ordered 18" Rims with 225/40/18 tires. A friend of mine said that they are gonna rub!!! Does anybody know if this is true or not? feel free to send me an AIM(AOL) instant messge to screenname EastSideCDiddy thankyou!

Hey caddy,
It's going to depend on what the offset of the rim is and how much space you have under your fender. I have 18x7.5 rims and I rub in the back a bit with two or more people in my car. I think I'm going to get a bit shaved off my offset so they'll fit right.
