17x9.5 +38?? crazy but is it possible?

Any possible way to get 17x9.5 +38 wheel on the MS3 without some major work? Rolling the fenders flat is not a problem, that's about as much as I am willing to do though. I have a chance to pick up some rfp1's in this size and thought I'd see if it's even possible. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

It's possible, it'll poke out a little though. Someone on here ran RPF's in those size with 255/40 tires. He was at stock height though. Just roll/pull the rear fenders and you should be fine.

Thanks man!! Im thinking with my car being lowered that the setup is going to be too aggressive. I dont intend to stretch my tires at all either. Thank you for finding that though!

Youre gonna have to stretch your ties if you want that wide. Even with a stretch you'll probably need a pull

just don't do what that guy did, put on some coil overs and put some negative camber in it so it doesn't stick out two inches on each side
